The accelerated program consists of six classroom-based courses, meeting on alternating weekends over a 9-month period. With approval from the CFP Board of Standards, students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination. The University of NevadaLas Vegas offers this program in partnership with Kaplan Financial, a leading provider of financial planning and education materials for financial planners. Kaplan Financial has helped more than 10,000 professionals obtain their Certified Financial Planner designation.
