Thanks to all that that took part in our meeting with Junior Achievement last month. Alan Diskin shared an eye-opening presentation and inspired many of us to get involved. We look forward to our Pro Bono Committee’s efforts to coordinate a group project that we can all get involved in. Stay tuned for more information. The Board is working diligently putting together the remaining 2008 programs and meetings. We are very excited about a member/prospective member mixer event coming up this summer that is sure to be fun. As you know, our group does not meet in July and August, so this will be a great way to stay in touch and an opportunity to invite potential members. The details are being worked out with the help of the Membership committee and we will keep you all posted. Wine and cheese anyone? Many of you have participated in our Holiday Party in the past several years at Lawry’s and made it an event to remember. However, we are looking to come up with something new and unique that will have more people participating. We are considering different ideas and venues and look forward to seeing you all there. Details to come… Lastly, our Board would like to thank Tim
Truebenbach for his service recently
on the Public Relations committee. Tim
will be relocating to his home state of Hope to see you all at this month’s meeting! |
