FPA-Nevada Creates Scholarship for AOF Students

The Financial Planning Association of Nevada initiated a scholarship program for senior students in the Academy of Finance. The scholarship is for the specific purpose of paying for students’ college application fees. Awards were granted on the basis of a brief essay by the applicant.

Scholarship winners were presented with checks made out to the intended colleges at the Academy of Finance Advisory Board meeting in December 2008 by Financial Planners Association of Nevada members Eleesa Aimaq and Andrew Patai.
